Trey and Bella went to playgroup today at Bella and Enzo's house! We played outside the whole day!

Trey and Bella got daddy some photos in frames, some PJ pants and long sleeve shirts! They also baked him some cupcakes all by themselves! Sort of!

Grandparent visits

Trey, Bella and Evan had a great morning playing! After lunch with Grandmom, we went to visit Mom Mom and Pop Pop for a while.

Ocean City

Trey and Bella had a lovely time at their friends' Bella and Enzo's 2nd birthday party in Ocean City! The enjoyed the rides and were very tired on the way home!

We had a sleepover at Grandmom's house since Daddy had his Fantasy Football Draft at our house!

Trey and Bella had a nice day today at the zoo with friends Joseph and Bella! We renewed our membership for another year since the kids like it so much!

Tonight, the puppies went out the doggie door while Mommy was cooking dinner. Trey came into the kitchen and asked "I outside?" Mommy said no since she was cooking dinner. A few minutes late, Mommy heard, "Help Monney Help!" Poor Trey was stuck in the doggie door! It appeared as though he tried to go out the doggie door but changed his mind when he saw the step outside. When he tried to back up, he couldn't get through because his elbows were not at his side! Bella was just standing there staring at him like he was strange!

Moon bounce

Trey and Bella had a blast today at playgroup! Moon bounces are cool!

Trey is finally winning the tooth contest

Trey cut a new tooth today! It is his first two year molar. Its on the bottom left side of his mouth! This is the first took he got before Bella did and now has 1 more tooth than she does for the first time!

Long Naps!

Bella took a 4 hour nap today! Trey took a two hour nap. Mommy and Daddy got a lot done!

More celebrating

Grandmom came over today and we had birthday cake for Mommy! Trey and Bella loved the ice cream cake!

Tampa Street Reunion

Today was the "Tampa Street Reunion" at Grandmom's house. Trey and Bella had a good time playing with the children of all of Mommy's childhood friends!

Zoo with Friends

Trey and Bella had a great time at the zoo today with Haley and Skylar!

Playdate

The Moms Club of Turnersville Playgroup was at our house today. Trey and Bella played with Sklyer, Raina and Hunter and then were joined by twins Kaitlyn and Brian.

Discovery Museum

Trey and Bella had a great time today at the Discover Museum with Haley and Skylar!

SJMOMS Family Picnic

Today we went to the Annual Picnic for the South Jersey Mothers of Multiples! It was at Great Times Day Camp. The kids had lots of fun, swimming and playing with friends. Trey went on his first pony ride! Bella petted the horses but did not want to ride them!

Progress

Today was just a relaxing day. Mommy and Daddy each had a nap!

Trey and Bella are now telling Mommy as soon as they go number 2 or just before! Both want to put it in the potty, even if it is in their diapers first! LOL!

Underwear

Bella went number 2 on the potty for the first time today! She told Mommy she had to "poop", so we went to the potty and Bella sat down. After a little while, she went! Mommy, Daddy and Trey were so proud of her!

We tried Trey and Bella's new underpants for a few hours tonight to see how it would work out. They both had an accident and neither liked being wet. They wanted new underpants immediately. So, once we have a few solid days at home, we are going to try moving from diapers to underpants for a few days!

Visiting Day

After taking Kimberly and Andrew home, Trey and Bella visited Grandmom at work and went to Friendly's for lunch!

After that, we went to Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house to go swimming!

It was a fun day!

First Crush

Kimberly and Andrew watched Trey and Bella today while Mommy took Daddy to his post operative check up! It was their first with a babysitter who was not a Grandparent or Aunt! They did great!

Daddy's surgeon said that his eye is healing as it should be!

Daddy, Kimberly and Andrew had a nice evening playing with Trey and Bella while Mommy went to her Mother's of Multiples Meeting! Bella is in love with Andrew! Her first crush!

First Movie

Trey and Bella went to their first movie today! It was Clifford's Really Big Movie, which is part of the Free Family Film Fesitval. Trey and Bella both did great! Bella would have watched the entire movie but Trey had enough after the first hour so we left.

Trey and Bella are very excited to have Kimberly and Andrew staying with us for a few days! They are here to help out while Daddy is recovering!

TWO hours

Trey and Bella were sad to see Pop Pop and Mom Mom go home today, but were excited to see Grandmom!

We went shopping at Toys R Us for 2 hours today!

Daddy is home!

Daddy came home today and Trey and Bella were very excited to see him. They think his eye shield is funny looking! They played outside most of the day with Mom Mom and Pop Pop with short breaks in to see Daddy.
Daddy has a follow up on Wednesday.

Daddy's Surgery

Trey and Bella stayed at home with Mom Mom and Pop Pop today while Mommy took Daddy to the hospital for his surgery. Daddy had an optic nerve sheath decompression today to help with his Pseudo Tumor Cebebri. Hopefully, this will stop the vision loss. The surgery went well. Daddy will be staying overnight at Wills Eye at Jefferson University Hospital for Neuroscience.

Mom Mom and Pop Pop took Mommy and the kids out for ice cream before bed tonight. Then we had a sleepover!

First Haircut

Trey got his first hair cut today! We took him to the Ambler Barber Shop where Daddy got his hair cut as a child. Trey was a very good boy and sat still the entire time! His new hair cut looks great!

Trey and Bella spent the morning with Mom Mom and Pop Pop while Mommy and Daddy went to see "Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix". It was okay!

Next it was time for shopping with Mommy and Grandmom while Daddy and Pop Pop went golfing!

Mommy was very excited for see her copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" when she got home! It was awesome!

Farming Kids

Today, Trey and Bella had twin playgroup today at Bella and Joseph's house! Since they live on a farm, we all rode our wagons through the fields and picked flowers!

For those keeping track, Daddy's surgery has been postponed again because there is no operating room available on Monday! It will now be Thursday of next week.

Summer Shopping

We did a little shopping today at the mall for summer clothes and then had lunch with Hunter and his Mommy Mandie!

Playgroup Day

Trey and Bella went to playgroup today at Skyler and Raina's house! It was lots of fun playing in their new tinkerbell room!

Grad School Picnic

Trey and Bella had a great time at the picnic today with the girls from Mommy's Grad School class! They got to play with Payton, Delaney and Ryan and even got to "meet" Ryan's new little sister who is in his Mommy's tummy!

Firehouse visit

Mommy took Trey and Bella to a BBQ at the Washington Township Fire House today with all of the other kids from the Moms Club of Turnersville! Trey and Bella loved it! They got to put out a "house fire" with a reaf firehose and "Drive" a fire engine!

Sesame Place

Trey and Bella had lots of fun today at Sesame Place with their friends Bella and Enzo! The two Mommys had fun too! We also had dinner with the characters!

Today, Mommy took Trey and Bella to the Philadelphia Zoo to meet one of Mommy's friends from Pregnancy.Org! Mommy's friend Jessica, her husband and her 18-month old triplet girls are visiting the area from Denver! It was lots of fun!

Another party!

Today, we went to Amy's 30th birthday party! Mommy and Amy have been friends since they were about the same age as Trey and Bella are now!

After that, we stopped by to visit John and Mary before having dinner at Peace A Pizza in King of Prussia!

We went to our baby cousin Colin's first birthday party today!

22 Months Old

Trey and Bella are 22 months old today!

We had a very nice Fourth of July picnic today!

Grandmom, Pop Pop, Mom Mom, Aunt Pat, Uncle Andy, Aunt Debbye, Stephanie, Kimberley, John and Maris came over for some yummy food!

Trey and Bella got their first pinwheels today! They loved them!

Lots of preparation today for our picnic tomorrow! Trey and Bella were a big help!

Zoo Day

Trey and Bella had a great day at the Philadelphia Zoo today with Mommy, Aunt Desiree, Colleen, Olivia, Kim, and Andrew!

Getting ready

Since Daddy and Mommy decided to have a Fourth of July picnic this week, and it was a last minute decision, there was a lot to do today! We went to BJs to buy food, finished building the shed, moved items into the shed, cleaned out the garage, started cleaning the house and did the weeding! Trey and Bella were so tired, they both took great naps!

New Family

Trey and Bella attended Aunt Floss' 80th Birthday Party today and meet lots of cousins they had not meet before!

Sesame Playgroup

Mommy, Aunt Karen, and Liz took Trey, Bella Christine, Joseph and Bella Grace to Sesame Place today! It was so much fun! Afterwards, Mommy and Aunt Karen took Trey and Bella to The Olive Garden for dinner! What a nice day!

New Shed!

Today was errand day. We did some grocery shopping and then bought a new shed.

Mommy and Brenda took Trey, Bella Christine, Bella Natalia and Joseph to the zoo today! They had a great time!

Birthday Party for a friend

Trey and Bella went to Ocean N Motion today for Hunter's 2nd Birthday Party! Happy Birthday Hunter!

Mommy did some major editing of the web site today to make more room for future months! There is now a small selection of photos for each month rather than all of the photos that were taken. We hope you like it!

They must have missed Dr. Dave

Bella and Trey went to the Pediatrician today since their fevers got higher again last night. They both have sore throats caused by a virus. Dr. Dave thinks last night was probably the beginning of the end of this virus and they will be better tomorrow!

Bella weighs 18 pounds and 13 ounces and Trey weights 21 pounds and 13 ounces!

First Night Away

Trey and Bella did a great job staying at home with Grandmom over night while Mommy and Daddy went to New York City for their anniversary! It was their first time away from Mommy overnight! Mommy did okay, but doesn't want to do it again for a long time!

Sesame Place

Trey and Bella went to Sesame Place today, with cousin Evan and their friend Samantha! We also meet up there with cousins Riley and Kayla.

Multi-tasking

Trey and Bella had lots of fun picking things out at the dollar store while the car was getting an oil change!

Trey and Bella picked out a nice collage frame for Daddy's new office for Father's Day.

New Tooth

Trey got a new tooth today! Its his last one before his two year molars!

Picture Day

Trey and Bella got the photo taken today with Cousin Olivia for Pop Pop. Bella was not in the mood and did not cooperate. She now hates Picture People! LOL!

After naptime, Mommy took the three kiddies to see Mom Mom, where we had a yummy dinner!

Sleepover

Trey and Bella had lots of fun playing in the backyard while Daddy did the lawn. Then in was time for more fun while Aunt Dani and Mommy did some scrapbook pages from our Disney World trip!

After dinner, it was off to Aunt Desiree and Uncle John's house to play with cousin Olivia and have a sleep over (with Mommy of course!).

Mini Golf

Trey and Bella went Mini-Golfing for the first time today! On a whim, Daddy pulled into the golf place to see if Trey and Bella liked it. Trey did a pretty good job and actually hit the ball with the club. Its more like he's playing shuffle board, but he gets the idea. Bella did not want any help and just wanted to play with the ball and club separately! Oh, and Daddy help Trey get his first hole in one! Really!

Mommy and Daddy got Trey and Bella a new pool today and a sandbox!

Let's Get Wet

It was extremely hot today, so we got out the sprinkler and the baby pool (which had a hole in it!). Trey and Bella loved the water and spent the entire day in wet clothes or bathing suits!

Everyday life

Today was a very busy day of fun! It was a beautiful day outside so Trey and Bella played outside all day!

Trey and Bella went with Daddy to pick up his new company car!

Trey and Bella were very well behaved for Mommy while Daddy had his Night Out with his friends from the office before he begins his new job on Monday!

Playtime

Trey and Bella gave Daddy a very difficult time going to bed tonight! They wanted to stay up and play while Mommy was at her SJMOMS meeting!

Way to go Trey

Today, Trey pulled his pants down, patted his diaper and said "Off". When Mommy took it off, he sat on the potty and went pee pee! Way to go Trey! He was so excited! The slow potty training just might be working!

21 Months Old

Bella and Trey are 21 months old!

They had a good time playing with Evan today while Aunt Kim had something important to do.

Trey and Bella had their photo taken today. They hated it! They are now anti-photos!

Miss you!

Daddy, Trey and Bella played all day while Mommy had a skating day. Mommy taught in the morning and had a show in the evening. This is the longest length of time Mommy and the kiddies have ever been apart. Trey and Bella did great!

Mommy, Trey and Bella played outside a lot today! Trey learned how to let the doggies out of the backyard (ut oh!)

New skills

Another relaxing day! This time, it was Mommy's turn to sleep in, so Daddy taught Trey and Bella how to do kamakazi dives off the sofa!

Yummy

Today was a relaxing day at home with Mommy and Daddy. It was Daddy's day to sleep in, so Trey and Bella helped Mommy make banana pancakes!

Memorial Day Picnics

Trey and Bella had a great time at the Memorial Day picnic at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house. They love playing with their cousins Olivia, Luka, Andrea, Stephanie and Kimberley!

After that, it was off to a graduation party for Mommy's cousin Maryann, who is now a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania! It was nice to see Aunt Myong, Jennifer, David, Barbara, Veronica, Frank, Colin, Uncle Nate, and Aunt Lynn too!

Swimming

Trey and Bella played all day in the pool at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house with Pop Pop, Mommy, Grandmom and cousin Evan! It was lots of fun!

In the evening, Trey and Bella stayed with Mom Mom and Pop Pop while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding. Trey and Bella loved it!

Play date

Trey and Bella went to the Mom's Club of Turnersville play date at Bethel Mill Park today. It was lots of fun!

NICU Follow up

Trey and Bella had their NICU follow up today with Doctor Kim.

Developmentally, they are doing amazingly well! They tested them at the level of 18 month olds (their adjusted age) and they flew through everything! They decided to test them at the 2 year old level (they had a 2 year old later in the day, so had the materials there), and they could do everything! They did puzzles with shapes, matched colors (had no idea they could do this!), put pegs in the holes, walked up and down the steps, kicked and threw the ball, rode a push toy, put the toys back in the right boxes, pointed to all body parts on a baby doll, took off socks and did an okay job putting them back on, put on sandals, pointed to a ton of pictures in a book and used the words for some of them. They can both use way more words then they are "supposed to" and are starting to combine words. Trey even said "tissue pease" after sneezing and the doc cracked up! It was really neat! The NICU doc said they are extremely advanced cogitatively!

Size is an extremely different matter! At 20 months old, Bella is 17 pounds 12 ounces and Trey is 20 pounds 8 ounces, both are way below the <3 percentile on the growth chart, and I think she was still adjusting for 10 weeks of prematurity (these are both less than their 18 month check up so we think the scale is a little off, but they are both low percentiles nonetheless).
As far as height, Bella is 32 inches tall (50% adjusted) and Trey is 32 1/2 inches tall (50% adjusted). FOr head circumference, Bella's head is 47 centimeters around (70% adjusted) and Trey's is 48 centimeters around (50% adjusted).

They have never been on the regular growth chart, but at one time were in the 5-10 % of the preemie (adjusted) chart, so their weight has fallen. Its possible that its genetic but we are watching this closely due their prematurity. Mommy and Daddy are not worried because we know they are healthy, but we would like to see them gain some weight.

The Doctor once again told us to give them pediasure (which we am fine with). She also recommended adding butter and oils to all of their foods. This, we refuse to do. We don't want to teach our children to eat butter and oil on everything because we want them to be healthy eaters. If we start adding butter to everything, what will happen in a year or two when they "catch up" weight wise and we start to leave off the butter? Most likely, they will not like their food without it! Not to mention, this would not be good for cholesterol, ect. and could cause other problems long term! Not a good solution in our opinion! There has to be another way! We will certainly add butter to foods that require butter and will continue to use olive oil in cooking.

We will also be looking for some new meal and snack ideas that contain more calories and more healthy fats. If anyone has any ideas, please pass them on!

New toothbrushes are a treat!

Trey and Bella had their 2nd dentist appointment today. It went well!

Bella has all of her teeth except her 2 year molars. She did great opening her mouth for the dentist!

Trey still has 1 more tooth to come in before his 2 year molars. He did not want the dentist to look in his mouth but LOVED playing with the dentist tools! The dentist let him play with the things that spray water and air.

They were both very excited to get new toothbrushes and will get real cleanings at their next appt in 6 months!

New Teeth

Mommy, Trey and Bella played all afternoon sicne we slept all morning. Guess that's what happens when no one feels well.

Trey and Bella each got a tooth today! Funny, its the same tooth! Its the lower right cuspid. Bella now has all of her baby teeth with the exception of her 2 year molars. Trey still has one incisor to go before his 2 year molars.

Disney Withdrawl

Trey and Bella hung out with Grandmom today while Mommy taught skating and Daddy helped out at Uncle John's house. Then we did a little shopping at the Disney Store where we got plates and cups for Trey and Bella's birthday party in September.
Mommy felt sick in the afternoon so Grandmom and Aunt DiDi played with the twins and gave them their dinner and baths.

Trey, Bella and Mommy are still recovering from our trip so we all took a very long nap today!

Stomach bug for everyone

Poor Trey woke up with the stomach flu today! We are hoping Bella doesn't get it. Aunt Dani and cousin Evan have it too. I guess being near thousands of people all week will do that to you!

Trey and Bella were very excited to see their puppies today!

Daddy got a promotion at work today! Congratulations Daddy!

Are we there yet?

Today was an interesting day! We had a relaxing morning at the pool before going to the airport. We boarded our flight on time and then proceeded to sit on the airplace for almost 5 hours before it took off! There was a huge delay due to a lightening storm in Philadelphia. The Pilot did not want to give up the gate or plane for fear our flight would be canceled or our plane re-routed with different passengers if he did. Thank goodness he was such a great pilot and was wonderful with all the kids!

Disney Day 7

Today is our last full day in Disney World! We had breakfast at 1900 Park Place at the Grand Floridan Resort. We were joined by Tigger, Pooh, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter! It was yummy!
Next, it was off to the Magic Kingdom once more where cousin Evan fought in a sword fight with Captain Jack Sparrow, then Evan and Bella danced with Woody!

We met Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and her Prince, Daisy Duck, Friar John and Friar Tuck!

Disney Day 6

Animal Kingdom, here we come! Trey and Bella loved Animal Kingdom!

They saw Donald Duck, met Baloo and Lilo, went to Dinoland and toured the African Safari!

For dinner, we all went to Liberty Tree Tavern, where we dined with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip and Dale!

Disney Day 5

Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

Today was a say at EPCOT! Trey and Bella had lots of fun! They met Belle and the Beast & Aladin and the Genie! They went to a live show with Crush and saw Nemo!

We also toured the countries and had dinner in Italy!

After Trey and Bella went home to bed, Mommy, Grandmom, Aunt Kim and Evan did some shopping at Down Disney and the Marketplace!

Disney Day 4

Today was MGM Studios Day! Trey, Bella and Mommy were up early, so we got a head start and went to see The Little Mermaid! Aunt Dani and Uncle Bobby were already there going on the Tower of Terror! Then we met up with Evan, Aunt Kim and Grandmom for the rest of the day's activities! We all went to the Playhouse Disney Show where we saw Bear, JoJo and Goliath, Pooh and Friends and a few others!

For Lunch, we ate at Hollywood and Vine where we ate with Leo and June from The Little Einsteins and JoJo and Goliath! Evan, Trey and Bella had a blast!

In the afternoon, we saw some more attractions ,met Sully and Mickey, and the Beauty and the Beast show! We also had some yummy ice cream that one of the cast members gave us for free because he thought Trey and Bella were cute!

Disney Day 3

Today was a day at Sea World! Aunt Pat and Uncle Andy met up with the rest of us there. We all saw the Whale and Dolphin Show and the Shamu Show! Playing in the playground was lots of fun too! And we must not forget petting the stingrays or feeding the dolphins!

After Sea World, we all took the shuttle to the Contemporary Resort for dinner at Chef Mickey's! Mickey Mouse met us there and brought along Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto!

Disney Day 2

Today was a beautiful day, so we all went to Blizzard Beach! Trey loved the water and is like a fish! He even went down the big water slide in a tube all by himself! Bella is a little more cautious and likes to stay near Mommy and Daddy!

After, Blizzard Beach, Mommy and Daddy took Trey and Bella back to the hotel for a nap before another trip to the Magic Kingdom!

At the Magic Kingdom, Trey and Bella had dinner with Tigger, Pooh, Eeoyre, and Piglet at the Crystal Palace!

After dinner, it was time for some character greetings! Trey and Bella saw their old friends Chip and Dale, and also met Dale's girlfriend Clarise. Trey and Bella then explored the homes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! Next, it was off to the Judge's Tent to meet Mickey Mouse! Trey and Bella also rode the Carousel and Peter Pan's Flight!

Yeah! Disney World

Trey and Bella flew to Disney World today with Mommy, Daddy, Grandmom, Aunt Kimberly, Cousin Evan, Aunt Danielle and Uncle Bobby! All of the kids were very excited and did great on the airplane ride!

After checking into the Disney's Pop Century Resort, we all went to the Magic Kingdom! Trey and Bella met visited Pinocchio, Gepheto, and Ariel!

They also watched the Main Street Parade, played in Ariel's Grotto, rode Its a Small World and went on Dumbo!

For Dinner, we all met up at Tony's Town Square across from City Hall. It was a lovely little Italian Restuarant themed like Lady and the Tramp.

Feel better babies

Bella isn't feeling well now so we started giving her the antibiotics that the

Doctor gave us yesterday in case she caught what Trey has. The Doctor didn't want either of them to be sick for Disney World next week.

20 Months old

Trey and Bella are 20 months old today!

Trey is still not feeling well so we went to the Doctor again today. He has a sinus infection and is now on antibiotics.

Swinging

Trey and Bella love being outside! They had a great time playing on their swing set today!

Sick Visit

Trey has a fever for the 2nd day in a row so Mommy took him to the Doctor's. Dr. Dave did a strept test but it was negative so its just a virus.

Trey weighs 21 pounds and 4 ounces! Bella weights 19 pounds and 1 ounce!

Philadelphia Zoo

Daddy, Mommy and Aunt Kim took Trey, Bella and Evan to the Philadelphia Zoo! They had a great time! Miss independent Bella walked almost the entire time!

Slumber Party

Aunt Kim and cousin Evan came over for a slumber party! Trey and Bella love playing with Evan!

Happy Birthday Friends

We had a little birthday party today for Bella and Joseph since they turned 2! It was fun!

Trey and Bella can now count to 10 when repeating after Mommy!

Loving Spring

Trey and Bella had a play activity at Washington Lake Park with the other kids from the Moms Club of Turnersville! It was nice to be outside with all those kids again!
Trey and Bella also played with their new water table today! Trey thought it was a pool and wanted to get in!

Bella got a tooth today! She only has one left to come in before her two year molars! Trey has 3 left to come in!

Mother Goose

Trey and Bella went to Mother Goose Story Time at the Library today. Bella and Enzo went too! Afterwards, we all went to the park for a picnic! Then it was shopping and Ice Cream at Cold Stone Creamery.

Mommy's Day Out

Trey and Bella were very excited to see their swing set put together! Daddy still has some mulch work to do but it looks great so far!

Mommy and Grandmom went to the Appreciation Auction Luncheon today with the South Jersey Mothers of Multiples!

Swing Set

Trey and Bella hung out with Grandmom with Mommy taught skating. Daddy, Pop Pop and John spent the day putting together Trey and Bella's new swing set!

It's Gram Time

Grandmom took a half day off work to go shopping with Trey and Bella!

Nova Visit

Mommy took Trey and Bella to Villanova to see some friends! Trey and Bella had funny running around Kennedy Hall!

After that, we went to the shoe sale that Joy Stride Rite was having. Bella got 2 pair of sneakers and sandals and Trey got 2 pair of sneakers!

Tykes Town

Trey and Bella went to Tykes Towne today with some twin friends! It was really cute! We also went to Target, Stride Rite, The Disney Store, Gymboree and Toys R Us!

Trey was up for a few hours during the night teething - poor baby. This afternoon his upper right molar came through with a bit of blood, as it poked through a blood vessel. Hopefully, Trey will be able to sleep better tonight.

Trey and Bella had a lovely Easter Day! They slept in a little bit, then got their treats from the Easter Bunny, had strawberry kiss pancakes for breakfast and went to morning Mass. After that it was dinner at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house!

19 Months old

Trey and Bella are 19 months old today!

Trey bite Bella for the first time today. Trey was sitting in the potty chair and Bella was on the floor in front of him. They were tickling one another's feet, when all of a sudden, Bella decided she wanted to sit in the potty chair. She stood up and tried to pull Trey out of the chair. Mommy said "Bella no" and before Mommy could get up to redirect Bella's attention elsewhere, Trey grabbed Bella's arm and bite her! Thankfully, he did not break through the skin. Mommy sternly told Trey NO, and he cried and kissed and hugged Mommy and Bella. Hopefully, that got through that biting is not okay! Bella got Trey back later in the afternoon when Trey tried to get on the rocking fish Bella was riding and she pushed him. Trey now has a huge scratch on his face from falling into the potty chair. Welcome to toddler hood!

Virus

Trey and Bella went to the Doctor's today for a sick visit. They both have a virus that is mimicking strept throat - poor babies!

The good news is Trey weighs 20 pounds 6 ounces and Bella weights 18 pounds 10 ounces, both fully clothed with sneakers on! LOL!

Trey now has a 103 fever, a runny nose and a cough.

It was a beautiful day outside so Mommy took Trey and Bella on two walks and we played in the backyard!

Trey and Bella had lots of fun playing with Evan today while Mommy and Daddy were at the South Jersey Moms of Multiples Sale! They sold lots of stuff!

Trey went pee pee on the potty today! Yikes! Mommy is so not ready for potty training and is going to try to hold off until our trip to Disney World in May is over!

Trey and Bella went to the playground today! Hunter, Skyler and Raina were there too! They had lots of fun!

Playdate

Trey and Bella had some friend's over today! Skyler, Raina and Hunter and their Mommys came here for playgroup since Daddy has our car today.

Time to go Home

Vacation was a lot of fun, but Trey and Bella were ready to go home! They both slept in their car seats almost the whole time on the plane.
They were thrilled to see Cara and Mia!

They were not thrilled to go to sleep in their room alone after sleeping in the same room as Mommy and Daddy for a week. Daddy rocked and patted Bella and Trey feel asleep with Mommy. Neither got up till 7am after a rough week of not sleeping well away from home.

Breakfast with Friends

Trey and Bella had breakfast with Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip and Dale at the Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club! They loved it!
Trey got a new tooth today! It is the bottom left lateral incisior! He has 1-2 more teeth coming in!

After breakfast, we all went to Winter Garden and went to the playground! Then it was pizza and home to pack!

Sea World

Trey and Bella went to Sea World today! They loved the Penguins! It was lots of fun! They saw a dog, cat & bird show; watched a dolphin & whale show, and a sea lion show! Trey and Bella also feed the dolphins, petted the sting rays and met some Clydesdale horses!

Shopping

Today was a day of shopping and visiting the playground with Mommy and Daddy while Mom Mom and Pop Pop went to the Villages!

Marketplace

Trey and Bella met Mommy's friend Patti, her husband Jason and their three kids Rilee, Reagan and Aidan today! We all met for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe! Mommy and Patti have been friends for 7 years and have never met in person! It was so much fun! The kids also played in the water and then we did some shopping!

Relaxing Day

Trey and Bella went to the pool and playground with Mommy and Grandmom today while Daddy and Pop Pop went golfing! It was a very relaxing day!
Poor Trey is teething and Bella might be also!

After golfing we went to dinner at Margaritaville at City Walk! Trey and Bella loved it! They are definitely Jimmy Buffet fans!

Magic Kingdom

Today, we spent the day in "the happiest place on earth" - the Magic Kingdom of course! Trey and Bella had a great time! We went to Minnie Mouse's house and Cinderella's castle! Bella's favorite thing was meeting Tigger in the Hundred Acre Woods and riding the Carousel and Trey's favorite thing was playing in the water at Ariel's Grotto and riding the Its a Small World Ride! We also saw Donald's Symphony, met Captain Jack Sparrow and rode the Pooh ride! We met Daisey Duck, Chip & Dale and Aurora!

Trey and Bella took everyone to dinner at the Crystal Palace where we dined with Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet! Bella loves the characters, while Trey isn't so sure! Then we watched the parade and fireworks which were wonderful!

First Plane Ride

Trey and Bella went on their first airplane ride today! They flew from Philadelphia, PA to Orlando, FL with Mommy and Mom Mom! They both did great on the flight! They each had their own seats with their car seats but neither took a nap! They were too interested in what was going on around them!

When we arrived, Pop Pop and Daddy picked us up at the airport and we drove to Mom Mom and Pop Pop's villa in Apopka. Then Mommy and Mom Mom went to get manicures and pedicures while Daddy and Pop Pop took Trey and Bella to the playground!

Story Time

Trey and Bella went to story time at the library with Mommy today! There were 4 other sets of twins there including Joseph and Bella & Enzo and Bella, along with their Moms. After story time, we all went to the mall for lunch and a little shopping!

Outdoor Play

Trey and Bella played outside today with Grandmom and Mommy! They love being outdoors and chasing the dogs around the yard!

Happy Times

Trey and Bella went to their cousin Kennedy's 5th birthday party today at Happy Times! They loved it!

New tooth

Trey got a new tooth today! It is his 8th tooth - the upper left molar.

Cleaning and biting!

Trey and Bella decided to "clean" that bathroom floor with their toothbrushes and some hand soap today while Mommy was in the shower! Guess our cleaning efforts are not up to their high standards!

Then we went to the bank, the Motor Vehicle Service and the store to get new toothbrushes!

This afternoon, Trey bit Mommy for the first time! We think he is teething pretty badly. He was really upset when Mommy told him no.

18 Months old

Trey and Bella are 18 months old today!

Trey and Bella went on their first car ride forward facing and loved it! We also went through the car wash, which Bella didn't like too much! Trey loved the car wash!

Be careful what you say!

After Mommy was finished at skating today, Daddy and Mommy took Trey and Bella to the mall to shop for some things for Florida. Mommy and Daddy got sunglasses and Mommy got Sandals. Trey and Bella picked out a birthday present for their cousin Kennedy.

All of a sudden Trey and Bella are trying to repeat everything Mommy and Daddy say!

Check Up

Trey and Bella had a play date at Bella and Joseph's house today. Enzo and Bella were there too! They had a wonderful time!
On the way home from play date, someone hit our car from behind while we were stopped at a red light! Trey and Bella were sleeping and didn't even wake up! Everyone is okay!

Trey and Bella had their "18 Month" check up today!

Trey weighs 19 pounds and 4 ounces (less than 5th percentile), is 31 inches tall (10th percentile) and his head circumference is 47 centimeters (25th percentile)!

Bella weighs 17 pounds and 1 ounce (not even close to the growth chat), is 29 1/2 inches tall (5th percentile) and her head circumference is 47 1/2 centimeters (75th percentile)!

Trey has a molar trying to poke through a little blood vessel causing a blood blister, so his mouth will bleed when that tooth finally pokes through.

Bella's tubes look great and will prevent her from feeling the pressure on the airplane - lucky girl!

Trey's ear infection is gone!

Bella and Trey are allowed to have fish now, so they now have NO food restrictions!

Trey and Bella are now old enough to have "big kid" chewable vitamins with iron! No more yucky liquid!

Oh, and Dr. Dave said that Trey and Bella can now turn forward facing in their car seats!!!!

Dr. Dave said they are doing great and is very impressed with their development! They are doing great and can now pick out all of their fruits and vegetables (from books in pictures of play food), and also know most animals! They love the alphabet and counting, especially when Daddy does it while helping them point to the letters and numbers on the border in the play room!

Trey and Bella are both doing much better today! They had a great time playing in the back yard with the puppies this afternoon!

Mommy, Bella and Trey went to a few stores to buy more things for our trip! Its coming up soon!

No more nursing

I am a little sad to tell you that Trey and Bella have weaned :( Its been about a week since they have last nursed.

A few weeks ago, they were barely nursing at all during the day, so I stopped offering nursing during the day. When they "asked" I nursed, but I never offered. Then last week, they were only nursing for a few minutes in the AM and before bed time, so I decided to do the same thing and only nurse when they "asked". They haven't nursed since Valentine's Day.

I am happy to have my body back to just me but am sad that this wonderful experience has ended. In the beginning, I wasn't certain I would be able to breastfeed one baby, let alone 10 week premature twins! But I did it! I am so very happy to say, I gave my babies the very best I had for nearly 18 months! What an amazing bond this has given me with each of them!

I have to say, I am very surprised at how much milk I still have! My breast hurt and I am leaking everywhere - more than I have leaked since that first month! Hopefully that will all stop soon.

I am excited to say that I now have the opportunity to help other moms who wish to nurse their twins! I have been asked to serve as the co-chair of the Expectant Moms Committee for the South Jersey Mothers of Multiples! I am very excited about this position, which will officially begin in July (even though I have already taken on some duties)!

Thanks everyone for helping us through all of the breastfeeding downs and celebrating all the breastfeeding milestones! Its been a wonderful 18 months!


Poor Bella woke up this morning covered in poop! Mommy and Daddy have no idea how it got out of a onesie and two pairs of pajamas!

Mommy, Trey and Bella went to the airport today to pick up Mom Mom! Then Mom Mom came home with us and played with Trey, Bella and Daddy while Mommy went to the South Jersey Moms of Multiples Meeting!

At Home Day

Trey and Bella had fun shopping at Walmart today with Mommy and Daddy. They were very happy to finally be out of the house!

Rough night

Last night was not a very good night! Bella was awake for a hour and a half for some reason and Trey was up almost all night!

Trey is still sick

Trey is still not feeling too well. His cough is much worse. Mommy called the Pediatrician and was told the its mostly likely the antibiotic breaking up the ear infection, causing a drip and then the cough. Mommy and Daddy hope Trey feels better soon!

Toddlerhood

Playgroup was at Hunter's house today! Trey and Bella played with Skyler, Raina and Hunter along with a new little girl Kelly. They had lots of fun!

Trey and Bella had some time outs today. They would not listen to Mommy and stop shaking the shelf in the playroom. Mommy was afraid it was going to fall on them so they had a time out on Mommy's lap. Neither liked it very much and they both cried. It did not work, however, since they both went right back to shaking the shelf! Welcome to toddlerhood!

Play group at our house

We had a playgroup at our house today for the twins! Bella and Trey enjoyed playing with Bella, Enzo, Bella and Joseph! Everyone had lunch together and did a few Valentine's Day crafts! The three Mommys also enjoyed the afternoon!

At Home Day

Today was a relaxing day for Mommy, Daddy, Trey and Bella! We played, cleaned and did lots of laundry.

Long ride home

We got home from Rhode Island at 3:30am this morning! It's been a long couple of days!

Trey is not feeling well so Mommy took him to the Doctors while Daddy stayed home with Bella. He has an ear infection and a sore throat. Trey is 19 pounds and 6 ounces!

Children's Museum

Trey and Bella are enjoying Rhode Island! Mommy and Grandmom took them to the Providence Children's Museum, which was lots of fun. Then we all went to the ice rink to watch Aunt Danielle skate. She did well and her team came in 2nd place! Bella LOVED watching the synchronized skating!

Skating Competition

Today, we watched Aunt Danielle practice skating, then went to the mall. Alexis came to visit Trey and Bella at the mall. For dinner, we went to the Olive Garden, then Mommy took Aunt Dani to practice while Grandmom put Trey and Bella to bed at the hotel.

Off to Rhode Island

Trey and Bella did great on the way to Rhode Island! They napped and played with Grandmom. Poor Bella did get car sick when we were almost there though.

Grandmom, Mommy and Aunt Danielle took Trey and Bella to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

Playing with cousin Evan

Trey and Bella played with Mommy all day before going to Grandmom's house at bedtime since tomorrow is a big travel day! Of course, once at Grandmom's, Trey and Bella wanted to stay up and play with cousin Evan!

Library Day

We went to story time today at the library in Voorhees. Trey and Bella had lots of fun and got to see their friends Bella and Enzo. There were also 2 other sets of twins from our Mothers of Multiples Club at the library!

New potty seats

Mommy took Trey and Bella to Babies R Us to buy two toddler potty seats to put on top of the toilets today! Of course, we also bought a ton more diapers!

Big Boy

Trey and Bella went to Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house with Daddy today while Mommy was at skating! The had lots of fun!

Trey has decided he is a big boy and has begun to show interest in the potty, other than sticking his hands in it, that is! Trey imitates Daddy and stands in front of the toilet, lifts up his shirt and "tries" to pull down his pants and diaper!

Poor Trey and Bella were up sick most of the night last night.

Happy Birthday Grandmom! Trey, Bella and their cousin Evan gave Grandmom a beautiful picture for her birthday!

Trey and Bella each got a new tooth today! Ironically, its the very same tooth ~ the lefts upper molar. This is the fourth molar for Bella and the first molar for Trey!

Poor Daddy

Grandmom came over to play with Trey and Bella while Mommy taught skating today since Daddy had a horrid spinal headache. Trey and Bella had tons of fun with Grandmom!

Bella learned how to say "ruff" today when asked what a doggie says!

Pop Pop came to play with Trey and Bella today while Mommy took Daddy for his spinal tap. Pop Pop plays lots of fun games!

Surgery

Bella had surgery to have tubes put in her ears today. She was a little trooper and did very well!

When we came home Mommy and Trey took a two hour nap and Bella took a three hour nap! Wow, that is the longest nap we have all had since Trey and Bella were tiny babies!

Good Sales

Trey and Bella went to Michael's and the mall (Disney Store and Gymboree) with Mommy and Grandmom today! We got some great deals!

Everyone then went to dinner at Cafe La Fontana!

Giggleberry Fair

Trey and Bella stayed with Grandmom while Mommy went skating today!

In the afternoon, Mommy and Aunt Kim took Evan, Trey and Bella to Giggleberry Fair, where they had a great time climbing six stories of nets and slides!

We had a sleepover at Grandmom's house!

Healthy eyes

Trey and Bella had their appointment today with the Pediatric Ophthalmologist!

Bella screamed the entire time, but both kids got a clean bill of eye health. Their next visit in not until they are 4 years old!

16 Months old

Trey and Bella are 16 months old today!

We are officially down to nursing only in the morning and before bed time!

Trey and Bella went with Mommy to the mall this morning to return some things. They each got 2 new pairs of pajamas on the trip!

Playgroup day....for everyone!

Playgroup for the Moms Club of Turnersville was at our house today! Trey and Bella got to play with Connor and Hunter! They missed Owen, Skyler and Raina but will see them in two weeks.

Trey and Bella are having a Daddy night tonight while Mommy goes to the Mothers of Multiples Monthly meeting.

What is that called?

Trey and Bella are learning the names of their fruits and vegetables! Today they learned corn, carrot, strawberry, orange, apple and banana! We are still working on the canteloupe.
