New Year's Eve

Today is our very first New Year's Eve! We are having a nice family night at home. We doubt it will be very quiet in our house though!

Reunion

Some of Mommy's friends from graduate school came over for a reunion today. They were all very nice!

We made two new friends named Payton and Ryan! Oh, and Payton's new baby brother or sister who is still in Payton's Mommy's belly!

We can't wait to play with them all when we are a little bigger!

Good-bye

Today we went to church to say good-bye to Pop Pop at his viewing.

Mommy and Daddy didn't want the babies to cry during the funeral Mass, so we went to Grandmom's house for that part and then joined the family at the restaurant to celebrate Pop Pop's life.

Daddy told us that Pop Pop gave the babies the best Christmas present anyone could give ~ he went home to Heaven with Jesus so that he could watch over us.

We meet lots of new people today, including out cousins Stephanie, Kimberley and Luka!

Pediatrician Visit

Mommy and Daddy took Trey and Bella to the Doctor today. The Doctor said they both have a common cold and it will get better on its own.

They Doctor said they look great and are very healthy other than the colds! The Doctor said that it would be okay for the babies to say good-bye to their Great Pop Pop tomorrow at the funeral.

Trey weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces and Bella weighs 8 pounds 10 ounces! Mommy was shocked at how much they grew, until I realized that they were both weighed with their clothes on today! I guess we can subtract a few ounces from each baby's weight!

Sick babies

Trey is a little worse today and Bella is getting sick also! My poor babies!

First Christmas

Merry Christmas!

Trey and Bella celebrated Christmas at Grandmom's house with Mommy, Daddy, Grandmom, Aunt Kim, Aunt Danielle, cousin Evan, Nanny, Aunt Tracy, Aunt Diane, Uncle Jim and Bobby.

Poor Trey is sick today and slept most of the day. Mommy let Trey stay in his PJ's today - so much for that handsome little suit! Bella has a little cough and may also be getting sick.

Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas Eve. Trey and Bella had a good time at their Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house at dinner.

They met their Great Grandmom Lane, their Aunt Gale & Uncle Bill, and their cousins Kim, David and Andrew. Aunt Desiree, Uncle John, cousin Olivia and Owen were also there to celebrate the day!

Trey and Bella were spoiled by all!

Christmas came early

Trey and Bella celebrated their first "Christmas Morning" today.

Since cousin Evan will be with his Daddy on Christmas morning, Santa brought a few things for Evan, Bella and Trey last night.

It was lots of fun!

Rest in Peace Pop Pop Thackray

Trey and Bella lost their Great Pop Pop today. He went back to Heaven with Jesus and is looking after the twins from there.

3 kids for Gram!

Grandmom is really asking for trouble!

She was at home alone for most of the day with Trey, Bella and 22 month old cousin Evan ~ in addition to Cara, Mia and her dog Jules!

Aunt Dani day!

Bella and Trey stayed with Aunt Danielle today!

They enjoyed every minute of it and thought it was funny when puppies Cara and Mia ran away and Aunt Dani had to chase them!

Growing like weeds

Since Great Grandpop Thackray and Great Grandmom Damico are both in the hospital, Mommy and Daddy took Bella and Trey to get their RSV shots 2 days early so we could go to PA to spend this time with family.

At the appointment, Trey weighed 8 pounds and 15 ounces and Bella weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce! Growing like weeds!

Our Photo Session

Bella slept 7 hours straight last night - from 10:30pm until 5:30am - Way to go Bella!

Mommy and Daddy had a little photo session with Bella and Trey today. They did very well!

During the photo session, Mommy put Trey on his belly and before Mommy could even snap the picture, Trey rolled over!!! This was his very first time rolling over! Way to go Trey!

Pop Pop Day!

Bella and Trey spent the entire day with Pop Pop for the first time! They had lots of fun and didn't scare Pop Pop too much. He will be back on Monday for round two!

Grandmom Day

Today is Grandmom's first time watching the twins all day. Trey and Bella were so excited, they wouldn't go back to sleep when Mommy and Daddy left for work. They wanted to go downstairs to play!

Swinging Success

Pop Pop is a miracle worker! He watched Bella and Trey today and got them both to go in the swing for over an hour each (they fell asleep, of course!)

Mommy and Daddy have only been lucky enough to put the babies in the swing for 5-10 minutes at a time, if that long!

Clogged Tear Duct

Trey and Bella are at home playing with Aunt Desiree today while Mommy and Daddy are at work! The both had loads of fun!

Trey had a little bit of puss coming out of his clogged tear duct and his congestion sounds a little worse, so he visited the Pediatrician tonight. He has a little infection in his eye and was given an antibiotic. They also checked his throat, his lungs, his chest and his ears, and all are fine. He was weighed and has grown a lot ~ he now weighs 8 pounds 13 ounces!

Bella did not get weighed but we are guessing she is also over 8 pounds since the babies are usually only 6-7 ounces apart in weight. I guess we will find out next week at their appointment for the RSV shot!

Bella and Trey slept in their crib all night last night! This makes 3 of the last 4 nights! Trey was a hungry boy and woke up every 2 hours ~ no wonder he is gaining weight so well! Bella slept for 5 hours straight!

Christmas Tree

Trey and Bella love looking at the Christmas Tree! Today, Mommy and Daddy put them in their car seats in front of the tree and they talked to the Christmas Tree before falling asleep and napping long enough for us to wrap all of the Christmas gifts we have purchased so far!

After refusing to sleep in their crib last night, Trey and Bella went back to sleeping in the crib again tonight. Mommy is not sure she likes it though :( I miss them sleeping with me.

Cribs

We decided to give the cribs a try again since Mommy is working now.

Trey and Bella slept in their crib all night tonight!

Mom Mom Day

Today is the first day that both Mommy and Daddy are at work. Trey and Bella are at home playing with Mom Mom today!

Mommy called to check in and the twins are doing very well and behaving themselves!

Three Months Old!

Trey and Bella are three months old today!

Bella is now officially in size 1 diapers, though they are a bit big!

First Party

Mommy and Daddy finally caved ~ Trey and Bella went to their first party today! It was their big cousin Olivia's 3rd Birthday party. They had lots of fun and even got to sit on Santa's lap! Now, let's hope the babies don't get sick because Mommy and Daddy will feel very bad if they made the wrong decision.

Daddy took Trey and Bella on their first real outing by himself today. They went Christmas shopping at Kohl's!
