Trey and Bella moved up to four by mouth feeding per day today! The doctor is very happy with their progress!
At their first nursing sessions today, Trey and Bella ate 20 and 31 cc's of breast milk from Mommy, respectively!
Trey and Bella both finished bottle number one today! The nurse said that Trey was very excited and gobbled his right down. Bella didn't want to take hers until she thought no one was paying attention, then she drank the whole thing.
At their second nursing session of the day, Trey and Bella both did great! Bella took 40 cc's of breast milk from Mommy. Trey did a good job taking milk, but the scale malfunctioned so we are not sure exactly how much he ate. Because of this, he was offered a bottle for the rest of his feeding, and he took 5 cc's of breast milk from the bottle, so Mommy is guessing he ate about 30-35 cc's of breast milk directly from Mommy!
Trey and Bella are both doing well with bottle feeding. Trey finished his second bottle of the day tonight! Bella definitely prefers the breast ~ she only took 18 cc's from her second bottle.
Trey and Bella are both growing well! Trey weighs 4 pounds 10.7 ounces and Bella weighs 4 pounds 0.8 ounces tonight!
